Dow's Single Year Reserve Port

Post by Glenn E. »

I found a listing for this but can't really find much else. It appears to be a tawny (and therefore a Colheita) but that's all I can find.

Is this just an older nomenclature or something? (Like the Warre's Grand Reserves that I have seen occasionally?)

Got it figured out - I called the store and they sent me a picture. It's a Colheita that was bottled in 1989, which was presumably before the naming convention of "Colheita" came into mandatory use.

I ordered their entire supply of 5 bottles!

What was the year of the harvest?
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
