2004 Quinta de Vargellas single quinta vintage port

Deep purple colour, intense blackcurrant fruit on the nose. Very sweet and soft entry but fills the mouth with fruit before the tannins grab you. Another huge Vargellas wine with a long length. 93/100. Tasted 5/10/06 from a bottle just opened.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: Quinta das Carvalhas 80YO Tawny
