Name this folder

Post by jdaw1 »

Since joining :ftlop: in 2006ish there has been a folder (aka directory) of www.jdawiseman.com named ftlop, which contains placemats and pictures. This is increasingly mis-named, so I have decided upon a new folder. But I’m stuck for what to name it.

It will hold pictures of tastings, PDFs of placemats, draft computer code to share with a narrow specific audience, and the like. Stuff off jdawiseman.com’s main topics, and so belonging in a general-purpose holding bin. What captures the essence of all that essence-less mess, and isn’t too long to type?

How about the relatively short, but entirely self-explanatory "port-events"?
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

Not such a bad idea. But I was thinking of using it for other specific-audience stuff as well.

Upon reflection, non-port stuff can go elsewhere.

The first five items to go into this new port folder can be found below here and here.
