My name is Oscar Quevedo. After met some of you during the last months, I couldn't resist, staying on the sideline. I want to join the conversation and share with you my ideas about Port.

I was born and grew up in the Douro, in S. Joao da Pesqueira, where I'm currently living. My parents, grand parents and their ancestors have dedicated to vine growing and winemaking. Since a couple of months ago I'm also full time dedicated to the family business, a winery located in S. Joao Pesqueira, aspiring not to ruin the good fruit we get from our quinta.

Oscar's a great guy, as a number of us have now met him recently. As a Port producer he is also a Pioneer in alternative forms of communicating. IIRC he was the first producer to have a blog and he still updates it regularly (many thanks for that Oscar). I highly recommend you bookmark his site and visit often for updates.
