Decanted: 26th August @ 00.45am and returned to original bottle.

Marks & Spencer's own label. Light in colour, but still with plenty of red although a very clear centre. Mature nose , with lots of all spice and sweet fruit. Soft and gently fruity flavours in the mouth. Flavoursome and mature. A gentle and persistent aftertaste. Enjoyable port. 89/100. Drunk 26 August 2009.

Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

Good red, though very translucent. Big acidity, and big sweetness.
