A bottle that I would estimate to be about 30 years old, from my late grandparents' cellar.
A deep golden colour, almost a pale orange. Smelling of hot buttered brioche and golden raisins. Still a gentle mousse in the mouth, and a searing lime acidity. A very, very long finish, which just fills the mouth and rolls around the tongue. Very tasty champagne.
13 Feb 2010. 93/100.
