2003 Quinta do Noval vintage port

Deep red colour, solid rim, opaque centre. Lovely nose, so full of orange blossom but with a tone of minerality included. Soft and silky texture; surprisingly fruit forward still with lovely baby fat and great ripe tannins. A delicious, delightful finish that fades away gently. Still not closed down and still very approachable. 91/100. Drunk 13 October 2011.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
