Tuke Holdsworth was the brand name of the old shipper Hunt Roope & Teage, the former owners of Quinta da Eira Velha. The company was sold to Ferreira in 1956 but the quinta was retained by the family and from that point it supplied wines to Martinez and Cockburn. It is now owned by Taylor Fladgate.
The Tuke Holdsworth brand now belongs to Sogrape, owners of Ferreira and might still be in use.

According to Mayson's book (2004), Quinta do Caedo has supplied the wines for over a century and has now also been acquired by Ferreira/Sogrape.

Charles Sellers (1899) says that the firm was established in Oporto in 1735. I think the brand name Tuke Holdsworth came into use much later.

Come on, let us in on the secret. Have you found the missing Pipe of Tuke Holdsworth 1863?
