Thanks to Rob for very generously buying a bottle of wine to go with dinner at a recent offline, and for making such an inspired choice.

I didn't make an extensive note on this wine, but do remember really enjoying it. The note I did make reads "Mature and tasty on the nose and the palate. Very enjoyable, what mature claret should be." I didn't score at the time, but from memory would rate it around 85/100.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: DR Very Old White, Graham Stone Terraces 2011, Quevedo Branco 1986 b.2026
