2002 Silex, Pouilly-Fume
Sauvignon blanc from the Pouilly Fume region. Incredibly intense nose - which gave away the fact that it was sauvignon blanc - an amazing palate and a stunning finish. Very powerful and heavyweight wine. Really good. 91/100. Drunk 22-May-14.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
