Hear, hear. We are off to a wine tasting in deepest Crossgar this evening with NI wine merchant James Nicholson. The owner lives half the time in Portugal so perhaps we'll get a bottle or two from his travels there...

Let us not forget, also, the excellent non-Douro wines.

I toasted with a glass (or two) of Dow 1980. And I'm very pleased to find out I opened a bottle for such a good cause.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
