From a magnum:
40% opaque, smells of cowshed, manure and forest soil, in the mouth sweetish tannins and liquorice, quite a long finish, the sweetish liquorice lingers pleasantly on the palate once the wine is swallowed.
A really great and tasty Barbera d'Asti.
Tasted at an event in a local supermarket in Cologne on the 5th of July 2014.
