Anything but Port, this includes all wines other than fortified wines (which have their own section) even if they call themselves Port. There is a search facility for this part of the forum.

1982 Palmer

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Medium red, with a 70% transparent centre. Gentle cedar nose, not showing a great deal. Gentle and balanced on entry, lightweight fruit that is supported by gentle dry tannins. Very floral and fragrant with a lovely balance. Great floral tones to the aftertaste leading to a big and lasting finish. 92/100. Drunk 11-Jul-14. Decanted 2½ hours.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: DR Very Old White, Graham Stone Terraces 2011, Quevedo Branco 1986 b.2026
