Brick red And full of very fine particles making the sample too cloudy to determine opacity. Bright fruit nose with sweet raisins and sharp raspberries. Soft fruit dominates the entry with lots of raspberry and tannins that taste like biting into a raspberry seed. Fragrant and well balanced on the palate, the fragrance runs in to the aftertaste and finish. This is gentle but tasty and delicious. 89/100. Tasted 05-Mar-15.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
