NV Kopke Tawny 20YO (bottled 2015)

Bottled 2015. Red/orange colour, 20% opaque. Fragrant nose, gentle and attractive. Nice texture, thick and delicious. Slow to arrive on the palate but rich, pleasant and fragrant with a beautiful balance - and even some tannins! The lingering finish of raspberry creme brulee is sweet and tasty. Nice port. 89/100. Tasted 05-Mar-15.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
