Yes I would have had no clue without that recent visit. We enjoyed some nice cocktails up there 😀

Right, now to think of a question...

On Thursday night I tried a wine for the first time - one I had been keen to sample. What was it? Producer will do, don't need the year.

Alex - you need to sit this one out....you know the answer!

It took me a while to remember, but I did eventually.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

If it was my turn I would be asking about which continent it is from to attempt to narrow the field

haha - you're supposed to be sitting this out! It's not English.

So to summarise, it is a well-known name, from Europe. Not English or French.

So it's not Chambertin (which technically is an appellation rather than a producer).
