Once again it is time for me to share a bottle of 1965 VP with friends to ensure I live for at least another 12 months.
Default food orders will be assumed unless special requests received.
Please come and join us to enjoy some nice Vintage Ports in good company.

I’ve no idea how I will negotiate permission but seems like the perfect night for a 70 VP from my perspective! Count me in.

Thanks, guys.
If happy to go sighted could you please announce which VP you will be bringing to allow JDAW to do what JDAW does?
Thanks

Life is such an ever changing complication at the moment. I would love to be there to celebrate another fine year for DRT but it seems unlikely that will be possible. Could I please go on a reserve list for now just in case I manage to get a pass.

It might actually be chance for my first meeting. Can I be placed as a reserve for the time being?

Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

After taking council from DRT, please put me down for a yes. First time doing something like this - considering bringing a 1980 Smith Woodhouse.

Don’t have two. OK, I’ll choose something else: 2×G80; or 2×RP94?

Simon P (aka JAG123) has confirmed attendance by PM so has now been added to the list in the first post.
The table is now full and the list of Ports is looking quite impressive. Could those who have not yet revealed please do so to enable JDAW to produce the placemats?
Thanks.

Quick, we're almost out of time to make placemats... there's only (just over) a month to go!
I'll bring a Butler Nephew '70.

Should we have a Meaningful Vote on whether or not to use placemats on 12th March?
Thanks for the BN70.

We could plan for a Meaningful Vote on the 5th March, but expect to delay the vote until the 12th.

That just means we either have to have a legally binding backstop in place or we have to delay your birthday.

I will now be bringing a Taylor Vargellas 1965.

DRT - a few housekeeping matters from me:
I hereby declare I will be bringing Graham 1970
My default food order no longer seems to be available. Please can I replace with: starter - goats cheese & beetroot salad; main - medium-rare rib-eye with a side order of onion rings.
Treacle tart with clotted cream is back - about time!

My birth year - I too seek eternal life!
The bottle is in pretty good condition, has been stood up in preparation for its demise in a few weeks (but remains in the cellar) and will be decanted at an appropriate time ahead of consumption. If you have a view as to exactly when decanting should take place, please guide me.
