Should we bin the MB & JS Scores?
Should we bin the MB & JS Scores?
Following on from some of the comments here I have created this separate Poll to gauge opinion as to whether or not the Declarations list should contain scores from Parker and Suckling. I am happy to go with the majority and, after reading the opinions offered so far, am now of the view that we should bin them.

Remove scores and find a way of attaching those of TPFites
My choice, subsequently discovered to match that of Derek T., was “Remove the scores and find a way of attaching those of TPFites†, even though previous usage has been “TPFers†.
I might be able to make the PDF link to TNs on TPF: would that do the job?

That would be good, but I am now wondering if it is necessary to use PDF if we don't need a tabular layout.
Perhaps each wine in the list could be preceeded by an Emoticon:
= a TPFburger TN exists
= no TPFburger TN exists
Where appropriate, the emoticon or the shippers name could be a link to the relevant TN.

I dont trust single scores as well, but the more scores there are the better the picture. In the Bordeaux region it was always worthy to taste a wine that has been scored well from Broadbent, Parker and Gabriel.
So I would suggest we add more scores from trusty guys.

Link to Standardised House Names
It seems that TPF is going to have ≥2 databases of house names. To allow linkage of these, the names should match. Please see thread entitled Standardised House Names. (If you don’t speak, I get to choose.)

I've just voted but don't propose to repeat my arguments as to why I would like to see the Broadbent / Suckling scores removed and replaced with TPF-ing scores.

Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
