A bottle from a Cambridge college cellar, purchased at Cheffins in 2018 by Alex M.
Perfect rich red.
A complex melange of red fruits on the nose too.
Glorious, richly strawberry-infused port on the palate.
A wonderful bottle, showing what perfect provenance can do when compared to a merely 'very good' bottle consumed in May. One of my wines of the year.
Consumed 16/12/21

45% oapcity, mature clear red. Fresh and minty nose. Lovely, rich, full, medicinal.

A bunch of people got together at The White Horse Inn, Saffron Walden, for our traditional pre-Christmas get-together.
