welsh rarebit and a green salad
main: Special Club Sirloin, medium rare (to be shared with Alex), with fries and green beans. Peppercorn sauce please.
no dessert

The SWC 92 will be brought by Tom as it is currently in his cellar. Brought the bt over to him in order to compare with the 91 SWC over 9 years ago. Cannot remember/find out anymore how much I paid, but think 40£s should be OK.

My plan for the ChAA was to open and decant Tuesday evening. Am willing to do as you propose.

On Wednesday I am bringing two bottles of 1992 Vintage Port, 13 bottles of olive oil (for DRL) and a Graham’s bottle bag (for JDAW).

My two bottles for tomorrow night have been opened and are now getting used to a bit of air exposure.

The cork on the CkC fragmented into a million pieces despite the use of the cork pusher. Before opening the V I very gently steamed the neck of the bottle where the glass is in contact with the cork — being very careful not to heat the Port. A gentle push with the pusher and the cork came out in one piece.
