Red fruits.

Pleasant but unexciting.

Light red colour with a pale rose rim, 30% opaque. An attractive nose of slightly caramelised fruit. Light fruit entry with toffee and rhubarb, gaining weight on the palate while retaining an attractive balance of fruit and acidity. The fruit and acidity combine to give a lovely forced rhubarb finish. Really nice drinking and showing quite youthful. 91/100. Decanted 4 hours.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
