O83. Dark dark red. Lovely start; then weird mint. Eventually I decided that it was wrong.

N: Cherry sweetness, toasted almonds.
P: Pleasantly surprised by this, with a rich sweet finish of good length. (1 point).

Opened at 19.00 the night before the tasting, decanted at 07.00 and drunk at 20.00.
Dark red colour with an opaque centre and a medium rim. Subdued on the nose showing almost nothing. Sweet strawberry jam on the palate with attractive soft black chocolate tannins - fresh and delightful. Cocoa coated bright, fresh fruit aftertaste and a long, lively finish. 90/100.
