DRT + AHB are allowed to drink the Croft together
DRT + JDAW are allowed to drink the Taylor together
PHILW is allowed to drink the Fonseca by himself
JDAW + AHB are allowed to drink the Warre together
Only one person at the tasting is allowed to drink water

By determining the rules of the tasting, propose another attendee and what he/she would be allowed to drink either on their own or together with others.
As yet, I understand nothing. But I do know that a riddle constructed by Phil will have been carefully constructed.

no.

No, you can't make RAYC drink it, even if he attended only AHB + DRT could drink it together.

K, I, S, S, I, N, G. I think is how the rhyme ends.

OK my rules would be;
PhilW wrote:DRT + AHB are allowed to drink the Croft together
DRT + JDAW are allowed to drink the Taylor together
PHILW is allowed to drink the Fonseca by himself
JDAW + AHB are allowed to drink the Warre together
Only one person at the tasting is allowed to drink water
And anybody else could drink what they liked, so Daniel and Glen could drink Warre, Fonseca, Taylor and Croft.

But I suppose this is too radical a solution.

In case anyone was wondering, adding up the numeric values of the letters in the initials and the name of the Port to attempt to find a pattern appears to be a fruitless exercise.

Yes exactly, which I think is cheating a little. Presumably what I can drink has to be worked out using my full handle too.

Probably. What is the numeric value of your handle divided by pi and multiplied by infinity? Is it the cube root of Morgan?
