2011 Georg Breuer Terra Montosa

Post by djewesbury »

Breuer make this blend with grapes from the second-best sites at their Grand Cru vineyards.

The nose is butter going already toward petrol. The mouth has a buttery entry, which becomes biscuity and toasted, and ends with light, crisp notes. This is a lovely wine with great, very satisfying complexity.

I just noted this in my little black book: "in the nose butterscotch on it's way to petrol, quite good".
