Orange rim, pale centre, looking quite elderly. A touch of VA on the nose with dried figs and fresh cut apples and suet. Very sweet entry , lots of spearmint and secondary flavours. A thick texture that gets thicker when held in the mouth. Weak aftertase. Pleasant, but not great. Drink up. 1/1 or 86/100. Decanted 3½ hours and drunk on 28/1/08.

I remember commenting that this didn't jump out at me as being a Croft. I can't remember why.

My TN says: "Browning. Smell of raw minced beef!! - Mid-weight - very smooth - mint - dry finish"

I rated this 11th out of 14. AHB had it at 12th.

Thanks to Simon Lisle for adding this to the line-up.
