One of four bottles purchased from Uncle Tom by Derek T in December 2007. The total cost of £180 was subsequently shared equally between Derek T, Conky, KillerB and Overtired & emotional, the last of whom takes credit for the contribution of this bottle to the line-up.

The inadequate label was produced and applied by me.

Mid coloured red centre with an orange colour rim. Daisies on the nose, together with celery and chicken stock. A bland entry and empty mid-palate with nothing but weak syrup. Some tingle in the aftertaste that delivers more than you would expect from the weak palate. Drink up. 1/0 or 84/100. Decanted for 4 hours and drunk on 28/1/08.

Hmm? AHB and I seem to have had different wines here!

My TN says "Quite dark with a bit of backbone - nice thick and fruity"

I rated this 8th out of 14. AHB had it at 14th.

Special thanks are due to Uncle Tom for allowing us to have this bottle from his cellar despite not being able to join us. Thank you, Tom.
