20% opacity, red amber. Fresh nose, melon, oranges. Lovely smooth entry then gentle heat and a dry finish. Fruit drying out, oranges.

Copper red colour, 50% opaque. Gentle, mature nose showing only a little pleasant fruit. Smooth texture but with an odd and unpleasant woody tone to the late palate. A big aftertaste showing a little harsh cranberry, harsh but intensely flavoured aftertaste and a medium length finish. 86/100. Decanted 7 hours.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
