Bottled 2016. Fresh nose, although a little muted, some honey and lemon. Although limited, what there is is quite inviting. The palate is lighter than most but develops a nice depth. Great acidity offsets the high residual sugar. Coffee, dates and some molasses on a ling, sticky and not wholly perfect finish. 89/100. Tasted 16-May-2024.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

1967 TSHT. Browning tawny color with a yellowing rim. A bit dusty and torrefacted. Some vinagrinho of the candied lemon variety. An excellent Port - big and full both texturally and flavorfully. (I wrote that down, therefore it must be a word.) Slight edge to the finish that is a little bit distracting. 94 points.

45% oapcity, brown-orange. Apricot and marzipan on the nose. Concentrated and intense apricots, syrupy, firm acidity.
