Sweet yet restrained bletted quince and some pear on the nose. Lovely balance on the palate with generous fruit giving a delightful combination of citrus flavours. The balance on the palate is impressive with a lovely grip on the aftertaste. Sweet caramel and torched sugar with a powerful citrus shining through. Delightful, truly delightful. 93/100. Tasted 16-May-24.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

1968 TSHT. Medium tawny, some browning, and a yellowing rim. Vinagrinho, caramel, and some faint vanilla on the nose. Very nice, round and flavorful. There's a faint torrefacted note that carries through into the finish. 94 points.

More acetone on the nose. Nice macadamia nut note. Long but not over-sweet finish. Really pretty (very) good.

45% opacity, brown-orange. Nuts, oak and vanilla on the nose. Starts soft and builds into a huge citrus burst, great sweetness.
