Beautiful bright red colour. Nice thick mouthfeel. Spicy, fruity and a very nice port for drinking today.

1970 Martinez: my palate must have been tiring, as my notes say only ‟taste orange and pineapple; also excellent” (presumably as well as the Cálem and Cálem Quinta da Foz).
