Bottled 2021. Rancio on the nose, smelling a little maderised. Burnt orange and coffee on the palate, gentle lemon acidity with plenty of brown sugar. Great acidity on the aftertaste; a little coffee and tannin leads on to a long burnt sugar finish. 88/100. Tasted 16-May-2024.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

1971 TSHT. Med dark tawny, some brown. Nose has a bready/yeasty note and is slightly sour. Easy on the palate but seems pretty thin. 92 points.

Greenish rim. Lighter textured than the 1970. Good.
