2007 Churchill

Post by nac »

Part of Churchill vertical tasting @ B&F, Tuesday 1st March 2022.

One of six different bottles supplied for the tasting by the Churchill Grahams. Many thanks to Johnny & Jamie.

Bottle in perfect condition, but only arrived the morning before the tasting so wasn't able to settle before being decanted (approx 24 hours before tasting).

This is lovely! Big fruits and tannins hitting at the same time on the palate. Quite a long finish with a touch of eucalyptus. V good.

Middling dark red. Quite dumb on the nose at the moment. But on the palate this is the real thing - big full rich ripe port. Young, but very promising.
