Quite aromatic, cherry jam, morello cherry, a little cinammon and clove spice.Medium finish, a little mono-dimentional, not much complexity on display. Good. 86/100.

Pale red. Looks fully mature. Slightly varnishy nose. Some honey and fruit underneath. A bit sharp on palate. Not right? If right, not good.

Consumed 6/4/22

Mature and attractive appearance, 70% opaque. Lovely spiced fruit on the nose. Smooth and silky texture on entry with a slight harshness to the red fruit, bright red jelly-babies. Lovely gentle palate. Bright raspberry fruit on the aftertaste and a good length. 88/100. Tasted 06-Apr-22. Decanted 24 hours.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

40% opacity, mature red, slight bricking on the rim. Dustry red fruit - strawberry, on the nose. Full mouthfeel, slightly dry dusty strawberries. Pleasant port.
