30% opacity, amber-brown. Lovely nose, sweet, candy, spice. Smooth and silky entry, dried cranberries, spice, sweetness. Lovely port, although still didn't garner any points from me.

Much lighter in colour than the Constantino. Fabulous violets on the nose. Gorgeous port in the lighter style. 3rd in the WOTN stakes and got a point from me.

1945 Noval. Decanted 4 hours. Red ochre, 30% opaque. Beautifully floral and elegant on the nose. Sweet strawberry jam on entry, quickly backed up by significant acidity with an attractive floral touch. Fully mature and at a delicious secondary point in its development. A little heat on the aftertaste, but this fades quickly to a gorgeous orange marmalade, which persists beautifully. Wonderful elegant mature Port.  95/100.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
