35% opacity, brown-orange. Nose has soft, overripe red fruits. Dried cranberry on the palate, sweet and lovely. Very nice port.

Rich full port absolutely in its pomp. Lovely scented nose. Smooth as syrup on the palate. Licorice and honey and red fruit. This is very nice indeed. Truly lovely at 2100. Two points from me and a close second in the WOTN stakes.

1945 Croft, decanted 3 hours. Russet red colour, 50% opaque. Gorgeous spiced fruit on the nose, extremely attractive. Boisterous palate with power behind the mature and spiced fruit. Glorious palate. Lingering dried - slightly burnt - fruit finish. Absolutely excellent. 97/100.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
