35% opacity, red-brown. Full and chewy, dried cranberries, spice. Great port!

Very very dark. Brooding. Prunes on the nose. Big and thick and rich and lovely fruit flavours. Really distinguished port. Arguably barely ready. Lovely wine. Really very, very good. Got two points from me and was a deserved WOTN.

1945 Taylor, decanted 3 hours. Dark red and intensely coloured, 70% opaque. Gorgeous nose bringing a lovely savoury tone to the redcurrant fruit. A little dry on the palate, slightly under-decanted with the fruit full of spice. A little heat on the aftertaste, which quickly settles down to be very, very long ripe redcurrant finish. Just wonderful, savoury yet full of fruit. Oh my, this was stunning. 96/100.
