20% opacity, yellow-amber. Nose awful. Not such a good bottle!

Filthy nose. Better (!) on the palate. Lemon drops and mushrooms.

1945 Delaforce. Decanted 1 hour. Bronze colour, 30% opaque. Smelly nose, perhaps a failed cork? Better on the palate, but well into being a tawny with a fiery core. NR.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
